Villa Meridian.

ISL's first project in Ghana — a private villa in East Legon, one of Accra's premier residential enclaves. The client, a Lagos-based executive with strong ties to Accra, wanted a second home that felt genuinely rooted in place rather than simply transplanted.

The response is a house that addresses the street with restraint and opens entirely to an interior garden court. Louvred screens on the west elevation manage afternoon heat without mechanical intervention. Local craftspeople executed the stone and timber work.

The project was managed remotely from Lagos with fortnightly site visits and a BIM model as the primary coordination tool.
